IF YOU LIKED BILL, YOU LOGICALLY REJECT HILLARY

Why isn’t Hillary’s rejection of her husband’s legacy been trumpeted by Trump? She brags about a great economy during those years then advocates policies in total contradiction with what Clinton implemented thanks to a big nudge from a newly elected Republican Congressional majority. She has managed to detach means from results without an effective Trump response.

I am not a high paid consultant nor am I a real estate mogul but I do know a winning argument that is not being made by Donald. It should be directed at voters who are still undecided or holding their noses as they contemplate a Hillary vote in key states. Her lurch to the left is so massive and clear as to render her in opposition to her husband’s most effective policies.

Every one of the following points can be effectively cemented in voter’s minds with a short video clip ad where Donald says, “This is Donald Trump and I support his sentiments and Hillary doesn’t”.

Indeed, if you are a fan of Bill’s most effective legislation and actions you must logically reject Hillary.

When pushed to work with a Gingrich led Republican majority Bill found his successes through compromise in a rightward direction. The welfare system as crafted in the 1960’s had crippled inner cities residents in a counter-productive system that discouraged work and kept dads out of the home. A government induced cycle of poverty had trapped people in dependence. Working with Republicans Bill passed an historic welfare reform bill that reduced the welfare rolls by 50% with no uptick in unemployment among the former welfare recipients. Hillary has vowed to continue the retrenching of those reforms under Obama that has led to more and more people in poverty and on welfare.

Bill lowered capitol gains taxes and in so doing encouraged business and job growth – revenues increased. Hillary pledges to raise capitol gains taxes.

Bill passed a revolutionary crime bill that put more cops on the beat and violent criminals in jail thereby lowering violent crime rates. That legislation saved lives of every color but proportionately more black lives. Hillary pledges to put more criminals on the streets and supports the illusion that our crime problems can be sourced to rogue cops.

Bill signed the Defense of Marriage Act. Hillary believes that religious people who don’t want to change the definition of marriage are deplorable homophobes.

Bill got elected as a founding member of the newly formed Democratic Leadership Council, whose major theme was expressed by Bill as follows, “The end of big government as we know it”. The DLC was specifically organized to retrench the leftward movement of the Party in the 60’s and 70’s. DLC members understood Reagan’s success. Hillary’s promises to expand government to levels never before imagined with free college, free health care, free child care, free medical leave and expansion of a failing Affordable Care Act renders her in total opposition to the mission of the now defunct Democratic Leadership Council. Has a bill ever had a more oxymoronic name? Here’s an ad, “The Unaffordable Can’t Get Care Act that I will repeal and replace”, then roll out the numbers and “I am Donald Trump and I will make affordable care a reality”.

Bill nudged by Newt’s Congress balanced the budget. Hillary’s plans guarantee humongous deficits that will swallow the federal budget whole and devastate prosperity by incurring debt levels unimaginable in the past.

With reference to “affirmative action” Bill said, “mend it, don’t end it”. He agreed that quotas were dicriminatory. Hillary is a supporter of a discriminatory idea enforced by Obama’s Justice Department called “dispirit impact”. Having not one ounce of evidence of discrimination people, municipalities and corporations will be targeted by the Justice Department and deemed discriminatory because hiring practices don’t conform to exact percentages of race or gender that exists in a particular population. These are quotas masquerading as civil rights.

In Bills second inaugural speech he touted having deported more illegal and criminal immigrants; hired more boarder personnel and lamented the loss of jobs by legal residents and welfare burdens caused by illegal immigrants on taxpayers. He talked about the injustice done to legal immigrants who patiently waited their turn in line by illegal immigrants who snuck across the boarder or overstaying visas. It was Trump-lite and in more discreet terms. But he tauted many more of Trumps immigrant solutions then Hillary’s. Hillary in emails has expressed a desire for open boarders.

If Trump were to comprehend what his brilliant economic advisers know about trade he could hit her on trade as well. Unfortunately he goes populist in that area as does Hillary.

Time is running out. It may be too late. But if Donald has any chance he needs to give people reasons to vote based on a time of prosperity they remember. Bill is still very popular. Why not exploit those sentiments to turn the tables on Hillary?
