Who would have thought Barack Obama, John Kerry and Ben Rhodes would be in need of remedial math? All those wasted education dollars expended at elite universities to give this dream team of moral confusion its intellectual metal and still simple moral math escapes their collective calculations. Secretary Kerry went off ad-nauseam based on a flawed formula in his last speech as Secretary of State. Yes, ladies and gentlemen those damn apartment houses and small homes in Israel are the moral equivalence of “Palestinian” (Arab) barbarism and hate. Here are the moral mathematics as laid out by our illustrious Secretary of State. The same guy who compared his brothers in arms to Genghis Khan.
Israel accepts a tiny bit of land in 1948 that officially recognizes a Jewish State + Arabs rejected a much larger swath of land as one more of many Arab States and attempt to wipe Israel off the map = it’s all about the “settlements”.
850,000 Jews are forced out of numerous Arab/Islamic states leaving behind all they own and resettle elsewhere + Arabs leave their homes awaiting the destruction of Israel and then return disappointed demanding their own new state = it’s all about the “settlements”.
Israel gives Arabs access to all Muslim holy sights in Jerusalem + Israel denied access to Jerusalem’s holy ancient Jewish sights and synagogues destroyed under Arab rule = it’s all about the “settlements”.
Three Israeli Prime Ministers offer the “Palestinians” 95-97% of everything they claim to desire + “Palestinians” respond with terror = It’s all about the “settlements”.
Israeli media, academia and religious institutions promote tolerance, peace and accommodation with “Palestinians” + “Palestinian” media, academia and Imam’s promote hate of Jews, teach children to honor martyrdom if killing Jews, financially compensate families of suicide murderers, name streets after murderers and promote jihad as a regular mantra = It’s all about the “settlements”.
Israel has a thriving if raucous representative parliamentary government where elections are held regularly + Mr. Abbas was elected 10 years ago, no further elections have followed and the terrorist organization Hamas, openly chanting for destruction of Israel and death of all Jews, has been brought into rule along side Abbas = It’s all about the “settlements”.
Israel exits Gaza uprooting thousands of Jewish residences + “Palestinians” burn down abandoned Israeli working nurseries selling goods all over Europe and Israel, and then reign rockets randomly into the heart of Israel = It’s all about the “settlements”.
Millions of Arabs live safely as citizens in Israel with more rights then they would have in any Islamic state while participating in government, academia, media, sports – virtually in every profession – members of the Knesset and Supreme Court + Jews living the “West Bank” require constant security to fend off “Palisinian” rocks, rockets, murderers and mayhem = It’s all about the “settlements”.
Israel has roots in the Holy Land that go back 3800 years, have established autonomous states on the land over millennia and have had a continuing presence since before the establishment of Islam, Jerusalem is mentioned in the torah some 600 times + a people calling themselves “Palestinians” had never existed until after Israel took back land in a defensive war in 1967, no “Palestinian State” with a distinct people, heritage, language or culture has every existed, Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Qur’an,
= It’s all about the “settlements”.
Israel’s rules of engagement are so restrictive as to endanger young IDF soldiers and when out of line the soldiers are court-martialed + “Palestinians” routinely target civilians and designate every Israeli man, woman and child a justified target = It’s all about the “settlements”
One can only speculate as to the source of the skewed moral calculus that has characterized this administration’s Middle East policy from day one. Morality as espoused by Reverend Wright, a gaggle of left leaning professors and far left family ties are probably at the core of our current President’s inability to distinguish the good guys from the bad.
